Line up of cars for the Spring Sunday Lunch Run in March 2016 outside the Golden Cross

Welcome to the Arden MG Club website.

We meet at the Golden Cross in Ardens Grafton (between Stratford, Alcester and Bidford-on-Avon) on the first Tuesday of every month in the Restaurant, if not gathered in the car park, from 7.30pm.  Club nights are very informal with only a few notices around 9.00pm (after the bowls of chips, courtesy of the landlady, Debbie) to disturb the conversations. Most meetings have around 40 attendees and include many couples.  Currently there is no membership fee, funds being raised by raffles. The club is affiliated to both the MG Owners Club & the MG Car Club, Midland Centre.

The Golden Cross is a beautiful Warwickshire village pub also famous for its excellent meals. Please click on the link below to take you to Golden Cross website with information about the pub and directions to get there.

There are several Road Runs through the year and we attend lots of Classic Car Shows, along with a Treasure Hunt, a Skittles Night and special features on some club nights.  For further details of past events click on one of the 'Report' buttons in the top right hand side of any page.

The main event of the year for the club is the Heritage Run. 1993 saw the first Arden MG Heritage Run when 200 cars left Stratford upon Avon travelling some 60 miles through the back roads of Warwickshire to the Heritage Motor Museum (now British Motor Museum) at Gaydon. It has now become an annual event, always finishing somewhere different each year. The final destination is selected for its historical or transport related interest. If you are an MG owner in the South Birmingham/Warwickshire area please pay us a visit or get in touch by emailing ArdenMGClub@talktalk.net or phoning Paul Dunster on 01789 261 815, we look forward to meeting you.
