The Chairman's Summer Picnic

Rousham Park

The Chairman's Picnic this year will visit Rousham Park and will follow the pattern of previous year's, so we will start from the Golden Cross, with a scenic run through the lanes of Warwickshire and into Oxfordshire.  On arrival at Rousham Park there will be a dedicated parking area in the courtyard and the picnic will be held on the lawn in front of the house.  As before we all bring a plate of food to share and by selecting from the list below (feel free to add your own speciality to the list) we can avoid duplication and have a wide selection of dishes to pick from.  Unfortunately we will not be able to provide hot drinks, so please bring with you your preferred refreshments.

After the picnic we will be free to wonder around the grounds which are extensive and beautiful with views over the Oxfordshire countryside.

The cost for the day is £6.00 per person to cover entry into the gardens, please let me have your payment in advance along with your selected plate of food (check with the list below which I will try and keep up to date). 

Meet at the Golden Cross from 10.30am, where bacon rolls and tea/coffee will be available to purchase.  We will aim to leave around 11.00am for the scenic run.
