Pershore Plum Festival 2015

August Bank Holiday Monday

Another wet start to the pershore Plum Festival saw a gathering of 7 cars at the Golden Cross ready for the run over to Pershore.  It did just about stay dry but then the rain came!!!  We just got the gazebo up in time.  The town was as well decorated as usual and there were lots of people about despite the conditions.  The car show was also well attended inspite of the weather forcast but there was a steady flow of cars leaving from late morning.

A good day even so, thanks for the gazebo Steve, I think we need to get a 'Storm Shelter' for next year which was the main topic of conversation all day.  Here are some photos, lets hope next year is dry:

Pershore Plum Festival 2014

August Bank Holiday Monday

A convoy of MGs departed from the Golden Cross at 9pm to meet up with David & Diane Rayner who had saved 'our' space with their 'New MG' underneath the club flag.

A good day was had by one and all despite the heavy rain, thanks Alan for bringing your gazebo.

Pershore Plum Festival 2013

We again attended the Pershore Plum Festival this and this was the biggest Classic Car Showing they have had for the Festival. Our 'pitch' was again along the hedge with the Abbey tower in the background.

9 cars assembled at the Golden Cross for the convoy run through the Worcestershire countryside to Pershore, with only a couple of missed turns on route. Thanks to Lech for producing the route sheets (even though he had to use the Citroen).

As you will see in the photos the sun smiled down on us and a refreshing glass was enjoyed.

Enjoying that refreshing glass!
